American Apparel founder Dov Charney discovered a single Holland photograph at a Manhattan house party in 2005. Recognizing the cultural significance of what he saw, Charney approached Holland to feature his skateboarding photography in American Apparel stores nationwide — introducing Hugh’s defining vision of 1970s California to a new generation.
